Purpose...
What
is the purpose of the Matamoros Children's
Home?
__________________________________________________________________
It is to provide a family to orphans
and neglected and abused children. Knowing the importance
of establishing the foundations of a child's personality in
early childhood. The Home provides a stable and predictable
environment in which healthy relationships among the
children and staff are developed.
Responsibility
is taught
daily through our example of conduct and attitude.
Attention to each child is given on a personal basis to
encourage them to get to know his/hers aptitudes and
encourage them to develop them in their lives. Affection is
shown in all activities we do in a well balanced
environment of Love and discipline.
The
Home reaches the lives
of its residents and also into its community and Country!
As
the children find God's will
for their lives beyond the Home, they carry the impact of
the gospel into the communities in which they settle.
The
dental and medical clinic
on the Children's Home grounds provide a platform for the
gospel to be spoken and shown through action to Matamoros.
VBS
sites and outreaches
in the city of Matamoros reach the lives of thousands of
people each year!
Dental
and medical mission trips
into the interior of Mexico provide care to those who would
not have medical care otherwise.
