The Evangelism to other areas has changed some. What we did this summer was to “insert” a dozen of our teenagers in several villages where they spent 2 to 4 weeks living with local families and sharing the Gospel among the people. Great and learning experiences for my boys, not just in sharing their faith, but living in “harsh” conditions. “We have it easy here at the Children’s Home” one said. “Over there in the village, we had to go out to the field to pick up wood to start the fire for cooking”. “I did not realize how used I am to indoor plumbing” said another one.
Everyone had a different and maybe difficult experience about their “accommodations”, but everyone came back with the same thought: “Let’s do it again!!”.
That is exactly what I have in mind. Violence or not, we are called to be Light to the world!!
Pray for me and my wife, that what God has revealed and commanded us to do in this part of the world, can be accomplished for His honor and glory and the blessing of multitude of people.
I will pray for you, that His Holy Spirit reveals to your heart the same, so that you can JOIN US in rescuing the orphans, neglected and abused children and reaching out the lost.
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith”.
