OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THE KIDS OF THE MATAMOROS CHILDREN'S HOME
THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SPONSORSHIP:
- Soffit and facie on cottages
- Painting
- Mattresses - $100/ea
- Concrete driveways
- Truss construction (2 cottages)
- Suspended ceiling in dining hall
- Bunk bed construction - $90/ea Mattresses - $60/ea (twin)
- 2 cottages – remodeling
- Perform surveys for drainage project
- Drywall and wiring (2 cottages)
MATERIAL NEEDS:
SOUND & VIDEO SYSTEM – The Home needs a 16-channel soundboard and speakers that can be used in the dining facility for worship service, approximate area is 7,000 sq ft. The system will be used for other programs that are presented by the children. If your church is replacing a system or has an old system that is working, please contact Dr. Camacho. A video projector is needed for presentations and showing movies to the children and staff in the same dining facility.

- 15 – passenger van – 1 needed
- Pickup truck – 1 needed
OFFICE COPIER – currently spending $85/month, need a unit which can be networked
PROMOTIONAL VIDEO – Our video needs to be updated with the current status of the Home and prepared in a format that can be made available on the internet.

MISSION PLANNING – Dr. Camacho expressed a need for individuals and churches to assist him in developing a model for evangelism for the interior of Mexico. Dr. Camacho indicated the model should include long-term support of pastors and development of occupational opportunities within villages where the pastors live. Saul reported to the Board that he had received contributions in support of evangelism that will be used to support some pastors.
